Fishing for Profits (L)

At 10 allowances a run, this leve's 1,921,700 EXP works out to 192,170 EXP per allowance, which places it 4th of the 6 Lv 52 Carpenter tradecraft leves that record EXP. The best of them, Do You Even String Bow, returns 423,990 EXP for the same allowance, 121% more.

Across that rung the return runs from 25,691 EXP to 423,990 EXP per allowance — 6 distinct figures spanning 1550%, so the wrong pick leaves 398,299 EXP of the allowance unspent.

On whether to wait: the best Lv 54 Carpenter tradecraft leve returns 473,220 EXP per allowance, 12% more than the best on this rung, while the Lv 50 rung behind tops out at 334,080 EXP.

At Lv 52 this data holds 54 leves paying EXP across 2 categories: the 48 Tradecraft ones average 251,119 EXP per allowance, the 6 Fieldcraft ones 576,023 EXP, which puts this leve 23% below its own category's average.

Gil ranks it differently: 374 gil per allowance is 3rd of 6 on the same rung against 4th on EXP, with the best there paying 749 gil.

Cedar Fishing Rod ×3 is a Lv 52 Carpenter recipe, 2 steps deep through 2 intermediates, costing 69 units of raw material and 54 crystals over 3 crafts.

Handing that in returns 27,851 EXP and 54 gil for every unit of raw material the order swallows, and the tree needs Blacksmith and Carpenter.
