About Eorzea Timers

The problem it solves

Unspoiled and legendary gathering nodes are only available during fixed windows on the Eorzean clock, which runs about twenty times faster than real time. A node that opens at 4:00 Eorzean time comes around roughly every seventy real minutes and stays up for a few real minutes. Fishing is harder still: many fish need a particular weather, following a particular previous weather, inside a particular time window.

Most tools answer “when is this one thing up?”. The question this site is built around is the opposite one: “I have twenty minutes — what is worth doing?” That is what the Now page is: everything currently open across mining, botany and fishing, ranked, with no account and no setup.

What is here

• Gathering timers — live countdowns for time-restricted mining and botany nodes.
• Fishing forecasts — the weather rotation simulated forward, so you get the next windows where the conditions actually line up.
• Crafting profit — recipe costs walked recursively against live market board prices for your data center.
• Levequest guides — which leves to turn in at which level, derived from the full leve dataset.

Who makes it

Eorzea Timers is built and maintained by Christopher DeVito, an independent developer. It is a one-person project, not a company or a content farm. The iOS app is on the App Store; the Android version is in testing. If something is wrong, there is one person to tell, and you can reach me directly.

Data and accuracy

Node, recipe and levequest data comes from the game's own data files. Spawn times and weather are computed from the clock rather than looked up — the methodology page sets out the formulas and, just as importantly, what they do not account for. Market prices come from Universalis and are only as current as the last player upload.

Cost

The site and both apps are free. There is an optional subscription that removes ads; it buys nothing else, and no feature is held back behind it.
