FINAL FANTASY XIV keeps its own clock, and it does not wait for you. One Eorzean hour lasts 175 real seconds, so a whole Eorzean day passes in 70 real minutes and any node tied to a particular hour comes round 20.6 times in a real day. An unspoiled node — the kind worth crossing a zone for — exists only inside one of those windows, and the window shuts again roughly 8 minutes 45 seconds later. This site answers the two questions that follow: what is open right now, and how long until the thing you want opens.

The catalogue behind it holds 6,004 gathering records, which resolve to 3,630 distinct items once the spots for one item are merged onto a single page, alongside 13,602 recipes and 1,757 levequests. Only 867 of the gathering records — 14.4% — are tied to a spawn hour at all. The rest are always available, and their pages say so rather than showing a countdown that would permanently read zero. They land on 23 of the 24 Eorzean hours — 11:00 is the only hour of the day when nothing new opens.

None of this is polled from another timer site. Countdowns are arithmetic over the current timestamp, and the weather that gates most fishing is a deterministic function of that same clock — which is why the fishing pages can list the next windows where weather, the weather before it, and time of day all coincide, instead of only reporting today's sky. Where the data is thin the pages admit it: none of the 758 timed mining and botany records store how long their window stays open, so those timers assume the standard three Eorzean hours and label the assumption.
