Gathering

Live spawn windows in Eorzea Time for every gathering node.

Most gathering points are simply there whenever you walk up to them. An unspoiled node is the exception: it exists only during a fixed window on the Eorzean clock, which runs about twenty times faster than real time. That makes reaching one a scheduling problem rather than a travel one — which is what the countdowns here are for.

Disciples of the Land

How availability differs by discipline

Timers matter far more to some disciplines than others. 27% of mining nodes are time-restricted (362 of 1,329) and 26% of botany nodes (396 of 1,538), against just 3% for fishing. So a miner or botanist planning around unspoiled nodes is watching the clock; most of what you gather day to day is not on one at all.

Fishing is gated by the sky instead. 273 fish need a particular weather, and 71 of those also need the weather that came immediately before it — a condition you cannot simply wait out, because it depends on a rotation that has to be simulated forward. Those windows are computed here rather than looked up.

The same material often turns up in more than one place: 3,630 distinct items are spread across 362 zones, and 262 of them open at different Eorzean hours depending on which spot you go to — so the nearest node is not always the next one available. 99 can be gathered by either Miner or Botanist. Each item page lists every spot with its own level, coordinates and window.
