The Lumber of Their Discontent (L)

At 10 allowances a run, this leve's 775,170 EXP works out to 77,517 EXP per allowance, which places it 5th of the 6 Lv 50 Carpenter tradecraft leves that record EXP. The best of them, So You Think You Can Lance?, returns 334,080 EXP for the same allowance, 331% more.

Across that rung the return runs from 24,081 EXP to 334,080 EXP per allowance — 6 distinct figures spanning 1287%, so the wrong pick leaves 309,999 EXP of the allowance unspent.

On whether to wait: the best Lv 52 Carpenter tradecraft leve returns 423,990 EXP per allowance, 27% more than the best on this rung, while the Lv 45 rung behind tops out at 168,310 EXP.

At Lv 50 this data holds 54 leves paying EXP across 2 categories: the 48 Tradecraft ones average 176,840 EXP per allowance, the 6 Fieldcraft ones 553,899 EXP, which puts this leve 56% below its own category's average.

Gil ranks it differently: 312 gil per allowance is 4th of 6 on the same rung against 5th on EXP, with the best there paying 686 gil.

Cedar Lumber ×5 is a Lv 51 Carpenter recipe, a single step, costing 25 units of raw material and 15 crystals over 5 crafts.

Handing that in returns 31,007 EXP and 125 gil for every unit of raw material the order swallows.
