Six Hours in a Leaky Boat

One allowance here buys 932 gil, which places it 2nd of the 6 Lv 52 Botanist fieldcraft leves that record gil — a figure 1 other leve on the rung matches exactly. The best of them, Ladies and Gentians, returns 1,062 gil for the same allowance, 14% more.

Across that rung the return runs from 509 gil to 1,062 gil per allowance — 5 distinct figures spanning 109%, so the wrong pick leaves 553 gil of the allowance unspent.

On whether to wait: the best Lv 54 Botanist fieldcraft leve returns 1,097 gil per allowance, 3% more than the best on this rung, while the Lv 50 rung behind tops out at 834 gil.

At Lv 52 this data holds 72 leves paying gil across 3 categories: the 18 Fieldcraft ones average 694 gil per allowance, the 6 Battlecraft ones 895 gil and the 48 Tradecraft ones 459 gil, which puts this leve 34% above its own category's average.

Foundation issues 360 leves in this dataset, Lv 50 through Lv 58, across 12 disciplines.
