Citizen's Arrest

One allowance here buys 299,380 EXP, which places it 3rd of the 6 Lv 54 Goldsmith tradecraft leves that record EXP. The best of them, The Unfortunate Retirony, returns 647,060 EXP for the same allowance, 116% more.

Across that rung the return runs from 47,322 EXP to 647,060 EXP per allowance — 6 distinct figures spanning 1267%, so the wrong pick leaves 599,738 EXP of the allowance unspent.

On whether to wait: the best Lv 56 Goldsmith tradecraft leve returns 379,930 EXP per allowance, 41% less than the best on this rung, while the Lv 52 rung behind tops out at 629,850 EXP.

At Lv 54 this data holds 54 leves paying EXP across 2 categories: the 48 Tradecraft ones average 296,533 EXP per allowance, the 6 Fieldcraft ones 622,778 EXP, which puts this leve 1% above its own category's average.

Gil ranks it differently: 874 gil per allowance is 2nd of 6 on the same rung against 3rd on EXP, with the best there paying 936 gil.

Mormorion Ring of Slaying ×1 is a Lv 54 Goldsmith recipe, 2 steps deep through 3 intermediates, costing 12 units of raw material and 20 crystals.

Handing that in returns 24,948 EXP and 73 gil for every unit of raw material the order swallows, and the tree needs Alchemist and Goldsmith.
