Allagan Bladeshark ★★
Location
Azys Lla holds 49 fisher nodes, 5 of them time-restricted and the other 44 available at any hour. At level 60 this is higher than 29 of the other 48, which span levels 53 to 80. This one is not among the 5 that are, so it needs no timing — the 44 untimed nodes here can be worked in any order.
Weather Forecast
Replaying the weather rotation for 365 real days from 1 January 2020 — 7,509 Eorzean days across 22,526 eight-bell weather periods — Allagan Bladeshark opens 2,438 times, about 6.7 windows per real day. Every one of those windows runs 23 minutes 20 seconds, which leaves it catchable 10.8% of the time.
The median wait from one window closing to the next opening is 2 hours 20 minutes, and the mean 3 hours 12 minutes. The shortest gap in that simulation was 23 minutes 20 seconds; the worst drought ran 1 day 6 hours.
Ranked against every other fish in this dataset that carries a time or weather requirement, that is the 122nd tightest of 348: 225 are catchable for more of the clock than Allagan Bladeshark, and one other lands on exactly the same figure.
