Weather Forecast
Replaying the weather rotation for 365 real days from 1 January 2020 — 7,509 Eorzean days across 22,526 eight-bell weather periods — Amber Salamander opens 7,509 times, about 20.6 windows per real day. Every one of those windows runs 17 minutes 30 seconds, which leaves it catchable 25.0% of the time.
Nothing but the clock gates it, so the wait never varies: every window closes exactly 52 minutes 30 seconds before the next one opens.
Ranked against every other fish in this dataset that carries a time or weather requirement, that is the 212th tightest of 348: 136 are catchable for more of the clock than Amber Salamander.
